Prendre Tsonga pour la fin de saison indoor, au vu de sa fin d'année 2008 et son début 2009, ca semblait logique. J'aurai eu un transfert à faire la semaine derniere, j'aurai fait pareil.

A nagging wrist injury has forced World No. 3 Andy Murray to withdraw from the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000 Presented by Rolex. The 22 year old has been sidelined since aggravating a wrist injury during Great Britain's Davis Cup tie against Poland last month.

Murray withdrew from the tournament following a medical review on Wednesday. “I apologise for the inconvenience that my withdrawal may cause but I trust you understand, the situation is beyond my control and I would much rather participate in the tournament than be in the current position regarding my health,” said Murray, who has been told to rest for two or three weeks.

The trio of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin del Potro will lead the title charge at the inaugural event, which is the climax of the five-tournament Asian swing. The tournament begins Sunday. Shanghai has welcomed the ATP's elite in recent years as home of the eight-player, eight-team circuit finale, now known as the Barclay ATP World Tour Finals, but this will be the first time that the city will host an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament.

The impressive line-up is set to include 17 of the world's Top 20 players, as the battle for one of three remaining Barclays ATP World Tour Finals berths heats up with just five weeks remaining in the regular season. American Andy Roddick is next in line to qualify, but will have to hold off the likes of Nikolay Davydenko, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Fernando Verdasco, Gilles Simon and Robin Soderling - all of whom will be competing for the Shanghai crown.

Nadal, Djokovic and del Potro, who have already secured their places in this year's circuit finale, are no strangers to Shanghai, having played at Qi Zhong Stadium during the Tennis Masters Cup.

Of the trio, World No. 4 Djokovic has attained the highest level of success in China's largest city, capping off his 2008 season by claiming the Tennis Masters Cup title. He will attempt to continue his run as he aims to win his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title of the season following runner-up finishes at Miami, Monte-Carlo, Rome and Cincinnati.

Nadal, a semi-finalist in his two Shanghai appearances, will be chasing a circuit-best fourth ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title of the season. Meanwhile, US Open champion del Potro eyes his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title on his second visit to Shanghai.

The Shanghai ATP Masters 1000 champion will receive 1000 South African Airways ATP Rankings points, while the runner-up collects 600 points.

Tennis très intelligent et victoire méritée de Murray qui revient très bien. Reste a voir si il a de nouveau la capacité d'enchainer les matchs, ce qui lui avait couté le tournoi l'année passée. Il a un excellent coup a jouer.

Sa femme doit pas être un très bon coup finalement.

Une question que je me pose, Murray il était fort chez les juniors, il a remporté des GC ou fait des finales??
